Artist Statement
In meiner künstlerischen Praxis untersuche ich Ist- und Seins-Zustände unter einem ontologischen Gesichtspunkt. Ich interessiere mich für das Innere der Dinge: für Identitäten, Dualitäten, die Schnittstellen zwischen scheinbar Gegensätzlichem.
Mein Material ist die Idee – das Medium ergibt sich aus dem Moment und dem Thema. So entsteht eine Praxis ohne festes Format: medienübergreifend, in-situ-basiert, konsequent offen.
Philosophisch, psychologisch und soziopolitisch verankert, begreife ich meine Arbeiten als konservierte Forschungsobjekte menschlicher Seinszustände mit Langzeitcharakter.

In my artistic practice, I examine states of being and existence from an ontological perspective. I am drawn to the interior of things: to identities, dualities, the intersections between what appears to be opposite.
My material is the idea – the medium follows from the moment and the subject at hand. This gives rise to a practice without fixed form: cross-media, in-situ-based, and consistently open.
Philosophically, psychologically, and sociopolitically grounded, I conceive of my works as preserved research objects of human states of being with a long-term character.
