Beim Globuswerk handelt es sich um ein 
Interaktionsobjekt, einem analogen Speichelspeicher, der ausgehend vom Betrachter an Größe gewinnt. Er besteht aus einer Ansammlung gekauter Kaugummis. 
Der Betrachter wird aufgerufen einen frischen 
Kaugummi zu entwenden und in gekauter Form zurückzulassen. Dieser wird anschliessend dem Globuswerk hinzugefügt und eingearbeitet. Bei dieser Arbeit handelt es sich um städteübergreifendes Projekt, 
welches in Leipzig, in den Globus-Werken seinen Anfang genommen hat.

The globe is an 
interactive object, a analogue saliva storage which grows from city to city, depending on the willingness of the viewer to participate in this project. It´s made out of chewed chewing gums collected and left behind by the visitors. Afterwards each and every left piece is moulded into the globe. This work is a long-term project and
 had its start in Leipzig (Germany), in a factory named: “The Globe Factory”.

Das Globuswerk ist ein interaktives Objekt – ein analoger Speichelspeicher zeitgenössischer DNA. Es besteht aus einer Sammlung von Kaugummis, die von den Teilnehmenden gekaut, hinterlassen und anschließend in das Werk eingearbeitet werden. Dieses städteübergreifende Langzeitprojekt nahm seinen Anfang in den Globus-Werken Leipzig und wächst seither kontinuierlich weiter. Aktuell umfasst es sieben Städte: Leipzig, Hamburg, Wolfenbüttel, Magdeburg, Nürnberg, Berlin und Kolding (Dänemark).

This work is a long-term project and had its start in Leipzig (Germany) in a factory called “The Globe Factory”. So far the entire Globe is built out of 7 cities: Leipzig, Hamburg, Wolfenbuettel, Magdeburg, Nuernberg, Berlin and Kolding (DNK).
